… it’s about having a relationship with God and his word.
James 1:17
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above”
How do you define good and perfect?
You may find the answer if you remove some expectations from the way you see your job, people, and even yourself.

John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid”
What is something that is troubling you right now?
In your troubles what is it that you can change and what is it that you have to accept?
We may find peace when we understand a bit more about our emotions.

Ephesians 2:10
“for we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them”
What is your life’s plan?
At some point in our lives, we start thinking about what we want. Sometimes it happens when we are young and sometimes after we have lived a little.
What is something that you want right now?
More money?
Wha is something that you need?
Inner peace… feel loved?
Similar to making a plan for our lives, God has a plan for you. Once you can see it and start walking in it, things start to aline.

2 Corinthians 12:9
“my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness”
Our lives in God are not perfect, but in the midst of everything we find inner peace and strength.
When we walk into a room people notice that peace.

Jeremiah 1:5
“before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I blessed you; I appointed you to be a messenger of God to the nations”
We were chosen to make a difference. Some are pastors or evangelist, and others are someone’s partner or a friend or an employee.
We may not change the world, but we will make a difference in the people closest to us.
Do you know you are chosen?

1 Timothy 4:12
“be an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in integrity”
Each family has expectations for their children as they grow older.
As a child of God, the Bible tells us what is expected of us.
Are you a person of love?

1 John 4:19
“we love because he first loved us”
Have you ever cared for someone to the point that you change? It is no longer me, but us.
As you read the word of God, and you see his love for you, it changes you. It calls to you, and it is no longer my life but our life together.
Do you know what unconditional love is?

James 1:21
“accept the word implanted in you, which has the power to restore your soul”
The word of God is in you, it calls to you, and it is a guide for you. The way you will live depends on your strengths.

John 10:14
“I am the good shepherd, I know my own and my own know me”
Have you read something that spoke to you so strongly that you made a change?
For example, your new diet works for you, to help you meet your health goals.
The word of God is something similar. You read it and it starts a change in you. The Word speaks to you, making you a better person.
It works in a personal level.
Have you read a verse that spoke to you?

John 8:32
“and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free”
What is the truth?
What is something that you know it’s good for your health but you don’t do?
Eat vegetables.
Although we know vegetables are good for us, we don’t eat them.
The truth in this example is that vegetables are good.
God’s truth is when you go from hearing there’s a God to know there’s a God. Once in his presence, the Word becomes true to you and God’s truth sets you free.
